365 Week Twenty-seven

Skoda rally Belfast Circuit of Ireland

Week twenty-seven images are below.

Another productive week, the highlight being the start of The Circuit of Ireland Rally on Thursday. I’ve managed to avoid including images involving decorating this week but unfortunately I haven’t succeeded in avoiding the actual decorating.

I’ve included a photograph taken in the Clarendon Dock area that is also in the previous mid week post. It was either this or probably a decorating image.

You may wonder about the photograph below captioned ‘Bangor’. This what is you see when you leave the Jamaica Inn, Bangor, my daughter’s current favourite place for lunch. I took this on leaving, after lunch.

Have a Happy Easter.

Things are starting to kick of now. The weather is improving and as Spring takes hold more events are happening in and around Belfast and further afield.

Unfortunately this week I spent more time with a paintbrush in my hand than a camera and some images reflect this. It also meant that I missed a couple of days although I was able to make it up and I did manage a couple of days out and about.

365 Week Twenty-five

Coffee

Week twenty-five images are below.

I had high hopes of this week. Batteries were charged, memory cards formatted and it looked like the weather was going to co-operate and I actually did get to Belfast one day.

Unfortunately things didn’t go to plan. Do they ever? You will see a couple of photographs below taken when I was helping to decorate my son’s house, which is where I spent a lot of time this week.

I have a feeling there will be more images like this in coming weeks.

365 Week Twenty-four

Week twenty-four images are below.

A busy week but mainly down to things other than taking photographs. The weather is slowly improving and when the clocks change this weekend it will really start to feel like Spring.

I don’t often write about the gear I use although I have mentioned how much I enjoy using my Fuji X100. I rarely go out with this camera without returning with images that I can use for stock.

When Fuji first released the X100 most photo sites and reviewers seemed to write and talk about it and not much else and although far from cheap it became very, very popular. Then there was the Fuji X-Pro1 again far from cheap, much written and talked about and very, very popular. I bring this up now because over the last couple of weeks most photo sites and reviewers seem to have been writing and talking about the new Fuji X-T1 and not much else. There’s a pattern here – Fuji are on a roll!

365 Week Twenty-three

Leprechaun

Week twenty-three images are below.

Another reasonably productive week that included St. Patrick’s Day. Surprisingly having such a productive week created difficulties in posting a suitable photograph every day as I’ve spent so much time taking and processing images for other purposes. Having said that I wish every week was like this!

The St Patrick’s day parade was held in Belfast on Sunday the 16th to facilitate people who may have had to work on the 17th. As usual the parade was well supported and ended with a concert in Custom House Square.
