Bangor Castle Walled Garden was designed in the 1840s and had not been open to the public. It was actually considered by many as a secret garden! North Down Borough Council restored the beautiful Garden and it was officially opened to the public in April 2009.
The Garden is located in the grounds of Castle Park and offers 2.5 acres of prestige horticulture. Well worth a visit.
